Drain Protection Kits
Depending on the size of drain or plughole, there are protective kits that stop harmful contaminants entering the waste water system and not only saving the environment but potentially stopping the risk of huge fines.
Ultra Drain Guard
Ultra Drain Guards are designed to remove oil and sediment pollution from surface water running into gully drains from surrounding construction sites, farms, industrial estates, or other areas prone to storm water pollution or cleaning operations.
Drain Guards are made from a high permeability non-woven polypropylene geotextile that trap solids and oils but allow water to drain through and also incorporate bypass ports to further maintain flow into the drain.
The image below shows how these drain guards function with gaps at the top so that rainwater, can escape yet anything heavier is trapped below.
They are designed to be easily placed directly into the drain gully pot to filter out materials as they flow into the drain without compromising drainage, and the Oil and Sediment model absorbs up to 3.29 litres of hydrocarbons as well as up to 18 kg of sediment, sand or debris.

Polyurethane Drain Kit with Holdall
This drain protection kit is available with the highly visible holdall or just the drain cover.
Our PU drain cover is made of Polyurethane which is resistant to most chemicals as well as fuels, solvents and oils. Suitable for temperatures between ‑40 °C to 150 °C.
They can be reused if cleaned and stored in a dry, cool place. Our PU drain cover prevents incidental spills entering drains and provide a fast solution to responding to a spill.
