K 424 XC Mobile Cases

The new K 424 XC combines the legendary quality of aluminium cases with new mobility.

• Sturdy, mobile aluminium box with quality, long service life, a reliable companion.
• Optimum mobility through integrated 50 mm castors and pull-out handle (Order No. 41810-41814) or second sprung drop
• Handle on the end face (Order No. 41815).
• Extremely smooth-running due to special castors, ø 50 mm, made from polyurethane and polyamide.
• Stack-ability guaranteed through stacking corners made from impact-resistant plastic and integrated stacking elements in the
• Support frame. Can also be stacked with containers in the K470 and Euro box series.
• High load-bearing capacity of up to 50 kg despite the low dead weight.
• Equipped as standard with removable base foam insert made from abrasion-resistant PE foam.
• Beading all round and corner beads for additional dimensional stability.
• Fitted with sturdy lid holding straps.
• Peripheral foamed seal in the lid for protection against dust and splash water.
• Comfort fasteners with extremely long service life, fitted with plug locks.
• A wide range of adjustable interior fittings ensure versatility.
• Optional wheel set 125 mm or off-road set 220 mm available for use in difficult terrain.
• The K 424 XC series comprises 6 models with a capacity of 28 to 195 litres.

K 470 Universal Aluminium Containers

With 25 sizes, the K 470 series offers a unique selection of standard dimensions. Their capacity ranges from 13 l to 829 l. And if you do not find the right case for your needs in this range, we also offer individually designed special sizes.

• Lid with stainless-steel hinge strip, two lid straps and foamed seal all round.
• Stacking corners made from die-cast aluminium ensure safe stacking.
• High level of stability due to 3 fully welded aluminium profile frames.
• Beading all round and corner beads for additional dimensional stability.
• Extra thick 1.5-mm sheet metal for all K 470 containers from basic dimensions of 750 x 550 mm.
• Comfort handles for ergonomic handling and loads of up to 50 kg.
• Ergonomic & durable C. fasteners for at least 20,000 operating cycles.
• Snap fasteners: can be secured with a plug lock, lead seals, protection against bursting open or a padlock (max. shackle thickness 6 mm).

Housing for electronic instruments

• The anti-vibration frame is connected to the shell by rails and rubber bearings. The material and type of bearings are selected according to the specific requirements in each case.
• Protection rating IP 65 in accordance with DIN EN 60529 and IEC 34-5/529 as a result of welded casing and lid with all-round seal.
• Base with stacking battens, sheet metal cover with indentations to facilitate stacking .
• All sizes (except NT610) can be stacked.
• Stable frame profile with integrated floating mounts for fasteners.
• Sides with recessed sprung drop handles.
• All the sides and the lid are stiffened with moulded sections (except NT610).
• 8 rubber bearings with sliding rails to accommodate the anti-vibration frame.
• Lid with toggle-action snap fasteners.
• Variable designs with different depths and heights.
• Completely removable anti-vibration frame.
• Welded-in rear wall is an option for all casings.
• Shielding efficiency to MIL-STD-285
• Height of lid = 63 mm. Height of special lid varies according to design.
• Designed to hold electronic equipment in a 19″ grid in accordance with VG 95446
